At Manchester Theatre Academy, we aim to provide quality theatre education on a variety of levels. Not everyone will tread the boards of the West End but all our members are unique and we aim to celebrate that and bring out the best in them, as individuals.
As well as learning all aspects of performance, our members are encouraged to get involved in other areas such as technical (lighting and sound) and backstage. This raises awareness of the amount of teamwork that goes into putting on a show and has such a positive impact on their future careers.
Overall it is important to feel part of a group and have fun, alongside commitment to projects. Manchester Theatre Academy is a place where young people can be themselves and feel free to express themselves in a safe environment.
