What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Bookings
When we take a booking we take the following information:
- Names of participants and parents or legal guardian if appropriate
- Address information for the person making the payment
- Phone number
- Email address
- Students date of births
- Details of any relevant medical conditions or other information which may be relevant regarding the students
- IP address
- To accept payments for bookings we use a third party company called Stripe, information including your name, address and card details are taken on our website by Stripe and used to process your payment. Stripe’s privacy policy can be viewed here.
Contact Forms
When you fill in and send us a contact form, we take the following information:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

When someone visits peak-tours.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Remarketing
In addition we use cookies to participate in Google Adword’s remarketing program, which enables Google, and Google’s partner sites to show you relevant advertising as you browse the internet based on the websites you have visited in the past.

Who we share your data with
We do not share your information with anyone unless we need are required to do so in order to properly execute our obligations to you, or else are required to do so by law. We won’t sell or pass your information on to third parties for marketing or other purposes.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, have made a booking on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
